With the current build programme for expansion throughout the North Island, we are seeking a Fuel Co-ordinator/Dispatcher to join our growing team based at our Head Office in Richmond, Nelson.
This is a role for someone with a good understanding of Logistics, a can-do attitude, a positive outlook, and great communication skills.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment that requires multi-tasking, listening, reacting and being highly adaptable and flexible. You will have the opportunity to use your excellent organisation and time management skills.
Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, this critical role will involve planning the logistics to ensure a seamless fuel supply to retail and self-serve stations.
It is essential that you have the ability to analyse numbers fast. A background in the fuel and/or transport industries.
An understanding of spreadsheets and sound geographical knowledge of the Canterbury region are advantages.
While normal hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, work outside of these hours is required to meet operational needs.
