NPD opens new Discount Fuel site in Darfield, Canterbury
NPD, the Nelson-based fuel retailer, has opened a new Self-Serve site in Darfield, on the corner of South Terrace and Ritso Street.
Chief executive Barry Sheridan says the Darfield community has been very welcoming with many enjoying the benefits the new site has to offer.
“NPD has chosen Darfield as a convenient location to support the local farming and agricultural community with an affordable fuel option. It will also help us provide better fuel coverage to motorists through our South Island wide fuel retail network.” Says Sheridan.
“In the future, we plan to add an NPD convenience retail store on the Darfield site with a strong coffee and food offer, providing employment opportunities to the community.”
Open 24/7, NPD is offering Diesel, Regular 91, Unleaded 95 and 100Plus, their new high-octane performance petrol. 100Plus is one of the highest octane, road legal petrol grades in New Zealand provided by via an established fuel retail network.
“Many modern cars benefit from higher-octane petrol and the special formulation in 100Plus also delivers a number of other benefits for many engines. These can include enhanced performance, improved fuel consumption, reduced emissions and smoother engine operation,” Sheridan says.
NPD’s Darfield site has 12 refuelling locations to suit customers under the comfort of a large canopy for weather protection together with plenty of lighting.
