NPD – Night Shift Fuel Tanker Drivers Class 5 (Nelson)

NPD Ltd is a NZ owned and operated distributor of fuel and lubricants with the Head Office in Nelson. NPD is a well-respected industry leader delivering the highest quality service in the South Island for over 48 years.

We are seeking an experienced, reliable and methodical driver to join our team as a Fuel Tanker Driver based in Nelson and delivering fuel around the upper South Island. The role is based on a Sunday to Thursday roster and includes several months of continuous night shift with the remainder of the year being day shifts.

We have a team who have a ‘can do’ attitude and are not afraid to help out with tasks that may be outside the main scope of work, and the successful applicant will need to have this same mind-set and display a flexible approach to their work.

NPD run a very modern fleet of Scania trucks, and take pride in the appearance and standard of our trucks and expect drivers to do the same.

At least 3 years of Class 5 driving 9 axle units within NZ with a clean driving record is a requirement. A DG license and experience in the fuel industry will be an advantage, but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
