How to operate an NPD payment terminal
We’ve developed a step-by-step guide to help you use the payment terminals to pay for your fuel at our Self Serve sites.

Step 1: Park and begin
Drive up to your chosen pump.
Head over to any available payment terminal.
Tap the screen to begin the process.
Step 2: Select your fuel amount
Follow the on-screen instructions to choose your fuel limit.
You can select one of the preset amounts, press fill or manually enter the specific dollar amount you wish to purchase.
Step 3: Payment
Insert or tap your card.
Accepted Cards: EFTPOS, Debit, Credit, or NPDcard.
Step 4: Select your pump and grade
Enter the number of the pump you are parked at (this is clearly displayed on the pump itself).
Select your preferred fuel grade and confirm your choice.
Note: If using a credit card, read the message regarding pre-authorization and press “Yes” to continue.
Step 5: Fuel up
Once the terminal indicates the pump is ready, return to your vehicle and start fueling.
When finished, simply hang up the nozzle.
Step 6: Get your receipt (optional)
If you require a receipt, go back to the payment terminal.
Tap the screen and follow the prompts to either print or display your receipt.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard and NPDcard at the pump!

Do I need an NPDcard to purchase fuel from a NPD Self Serve site?
No, you don’t need an NPDcard to use an NPD Self Serve site—we accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard and NPDcard at the pump.
Can I redeem a supermarket docket 12c discount offer at an NPD Self Serve site?
Supermarket dockets are not accepted at NPD Self Serve sites.
Can I use a gift card or voucher to pay for fuel at a NPD Self Serve site?
Gift cards such as Prezzi Cards and other vouchers are not accepted payment methods at NPD Self Serve sites.
I believe I was charged incorrectly when using a Self Serve site—who can I contact?

Can I use my Mobil Card at NPD Self Serve Sites?
Mobil Card is accepted at selected NPD Self Serve sites. You can find details on where Mobil Card is accepted by searching for the site using the above map.
Why is there a hold of $200 on my card when I use a Self Serve site?
In some cases, your bank account may show a pending transaction of $200.00. These funds are held temporarily by your bank, not NPD, and are normally released within 3 days. If you cannot wait for the funds to be released, please contact your bank directly.
