NPD – Night Shift Fuel Tanker Drivers Class 5 (Nelson)

NPD Ltd has built an enviable reputation supplying the fuel industry for over 50 years. NPD is New Zealand owned and operated with a fleet of Scania trucks and our head office based in Nelson.

We are seeking a reliable and methodical truck driver with a strong work ethic to join our team as a full-time permanent Nightshift fuel delivery driver based at Nelson. Days of work will generally be Sunday to Thursday with deliveries mainly throughout the upper South Island.

Imperative to this role are a good level of physical fitness, the ability to positively communicate and adhering to safety standards and fuel handling procedures.

We have a team who have a ‘can do’ attitude and are not afraid to help out with tasks that may be outside the main scope of work, you will need to be an adaptable energetic team player, with the same mind-set.

A minimum of 5 years’ Class 5 experience on NZ roads on a clean license, with supporting referees is essential. While preference will be given to those with a DG license and experience in the fuel industry or live loads, they are not a necessity as full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

You will be required to comply with NPD’s Drug and Alcohol policy and you must pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
